Following the failure of a main cold water valve serving the John Dalton Tower on the MMU Campus, we called upon the assistance of your company as a specialist contractor to support us. Tom Scofield initially attended the call and from the onset he gave assurance and confidence in his / Honeywell’s ability, reassuring the MMU senior engineering management on site at the time that it was not an issue tht could be resolved.

The following Monday morning as agreed Tom & Nathan attended site and commenced with the necessary repairs and modification requested by MMU, which were fluid to say the least as the goal post kept being moved by MMU.. Never the less they both got fully engaged into the job in hand, working long days and getting several soaking on the way until the water issues were resolved and the supplies were re-instated to John Dalton Tower.

Dr John Hindley who is the principal MMU Estates Senior Engineering Manager particularly passed several comment on how Tom and Nathan carried out the required work.. He was very so impressed to the point that he even went out and bought them both lunch. The lads work did not go un-noticed by MMU.

The East Cheshire Hospice has specific requirements of the contractors it employs. All work should be supported by appropriate documentation i.e. Health and Safety, certificates, job sheets etc. Their staff should be smart, trained to a high standard within their area of expertise, friendly and trustworthy. For some companies these are big asks! TPS have been able to deliver in all of these areas. Their staff are respectful of their surroundings when on site and understand that they need to be flexible when carrying out their work, so as to minimise noise and disruption to our patients and their families. Now that we have had some cold weather I wanted to provide some feedback on the excellent work carried out by Techniheat at Withington Golf Club.

The installation was carried out with the absolute minimum of disruption and the end result is also very aesthetically pleasing with the vents not being noticed at all.

The heating warms up the room quickly and the cooling is very effective when needed, with the temperature controls being very user friendly.

For the most part, companies will churn through a few a few contractors before they find the right ones.

Fortunately for me, I engaged the services of TPS almost ten years ago. During this time, they have provided a cost-effective and highly responsive service.

We operate in the depths of the Peak District where the weather is not always kind. Any sort of heating problem in the Winter can quickly become an emergency. It is therefore critical that our HVAC contractors are able to respond quickly and effectively when we report issues with the heating. TPS have provided this for us in Spades.

We were badly affected by the deep freezes of 2010 but TPS were able to get engineers on site in time to mitigate the damage. The engineers stayed with us until we had stabilised the situation and returned shortly afterwards to effect the repairs. This enabled us to keep the business running despite substantial frost damage to the system. Once we were back to business as usual, they worked with us to modify the system to prevent a recurrence.

When running Operations for a mid-sized business, contractor selection can mean the difference between success or failure. This is especially true when emergencies occur.

TPS was a great find for me. They are big enough to provide a rapid and cost-effective response but small enough to know each if their customers' needs and priorities. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
